Show Notes

  1. Use and create stylized shoots with the intent to sell. Keep in mind your trying to attract your ideal client or a higher paying client.

  2. When you approach someone about a styled shoot be prepared to contribute financially to the cost of the flowers.

  3. You might be able to partner with other vendors with common goals to share some of the cost of a shoot.

  4. Trends are important. However, Bron mentioned that it’s important to look at trends and how you will apply them to be true and authentic to you and your business brand.

  5. Study publications to see what kind of shoots they like when designing yours.

  6. Conferences are a game changer. You learn immediate take-aways to apply to your business. No matter your marketing budget do what you can to get to a conference.

  7. Reach out to clients about giving you feedback. Follow-up with your clients and let them know how important they are and how important their opinion is to you.

  8. Remember we are in a service industry.

  9. Partnerships can be a wonderful way to work together with someone and help promote each other.

  10. Lastly, don’t forget to be easy on yourself.
